Shaminda Fernando, (Chairman)

A finance professional with 20 years of experience. His unique strength is he has led the finance operation of big businesses and has experience in transforming the back-office functions of these organizations to Shared Services, BPO set ups.

He has worked as a Chief Financial Officer at Brandix Casualwear a leading Apparel Manufacturer in Sri Lanka. He was instrumental in setting up Accenture BPO operation in Sri Lanka and the work transfer from Brandix to Accenture. He led the finance function of the Entire Brandix Group from Accenture. 

Shaminda also worked at WNS Global BPO and led the largest finance team in Sri Lanka for Aviva Global with 320 finance associates.

Shaminda has handled many work restructures and transformations. His team achieved the finance function optimized certification which is the highest certification awarded in Accenture. He has also led many Digital transformations in Robotics which delivered clients enormous productivity benefits and Digitized optimal processes.

  • Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK FCMA)
  • MBA – Cardiff Metropolitan University UK
  • Was a Member of CPA Australia
  • Was a Member of ACMA SL

Nadeesha Fernando, (COO-Cheif operating Officer)

A finance Professional who has specialised in Australian accounting and taxation. She has handled many Australian clients and intimate dedicated service sets her apart from the rest.  

She has also worked for GSK Shared Services operation. Managing the financial Reporting function, Accounts Payable function and many projects. 

Prior to that she worked for the No 1 Global Tea manufacturing company in Sri Lanka, namely Dilmah Tea. Nadeesha was responsible for managing the accounting function of  Dilmah Australia.  She has led many transformation projects in the areas of Financial reporting, taxation, Working Capital Management, Cost Optimization etc. 

She has much experience in number of accounting applications. Namely Xero, MYOB, Quick books, Handy ledger, SAP, Oracle and Sage to name a few. She has also helped many small to medium size companies structure their finance function. Reorganizing the finance function with attention to detail coupled with Excellence is her core.

Professional Qualification,

  • Associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK (ACMA)
  • BBA specialized in Finance (2nd upper) – University of Colombo
